Too Much Pleasure?
Question:I am writing from México and have recently become a member of Butch Bear. My questions for you are: is it bad to masturbate frequently? What are the problems it may cause? Als0, is it possible that one testicle can look a little big than other?
Answer:
Masturbation is a healthy part of male sexuality. Physically it causes no harm. Its simply using the body for an action that it was intended for. Orgasm is a good physical and mental relief of tension. More frequent orgasms has been associated with a decrease in pain and an increase in the sense of wellbeing.
So... can a guy jerk-off too much?
The only concern really about frequent masturbation is whether it is affecting someones relationships or ability to function/work. Some guys can get obsessed with masturbation to the point of it being an addiction. This is not common. If you find that you are staying away from people or having trouble with work or relationships because of it, it may be a sign of an addiction to it. Just like compulsive lying or eating, this may need some professional help.
Another issue for some men is the cultural or religious stigma (guilt) associated with masturbation. These cultures and religions often teach against gay sex as well. Some of us have had to work to decide what we believe about these things. Certainly if you are feeling guilty about masturbation, the question to ask is why? When we ask this question and learn the answer, then we can decide what action or change we want to make.
As guys, we certainly like sex and orgasm. Again, masturbation gives us a physical and mental release. As long as it doesnt interfere with our lives, it is absolutely normal and healthy.
<Als0, is it possible that one testicle can look a little big than other?>
Yes. In fact, one testicle is almost always a bit bigger than the other. Youll also notice that one tends to hang lower than the other one as well. This is entirely normal. Just be sure to check your testicles for lumps or bumps every month.
Thanks for your questions!
